I use a Sandisk 4GB card with a Kingston adaptor; the supplied Sandisk adaptor wouldn't work, nor would the no-name one I bought (though some people have working no-name ones).

Well talk about bad luck, my no-name micro to miniSD adapter stopped working last night! The adapter works fine with my USB card readers, but the N810 ignores it. Anyone have this problem? I hope my N810 is okay.
Edit: soaked the adapter in alcohol and and nothing changed. Used an eraser on the adapters contacts and nothing changed. Took the card+adapter in and out ~25 times and nothing changed. Waited ~8 hours, took the card+adapter in and out twice and magically the N810 saw my card. I have a new micro to mini adapter on order and I'm not going to touch my existing adapter until the replacement shows up. |
