The swap file might also be corrupt (if you use one, recreate it).

From a Linux/Mac OS X computer:

flasher-3.0 is something different on Mac OS X.

Actually, even faster method from the tablet:

as root:

Don't expect bugs to magically vanish if you don't report them... And at least I don't get nervous or excited (or whatever, I do have high blood pressure anyway) when filing a bug report. Don't be shy! :-P

You can try to change the version info in the tablet, to something that would allow the windows flasher to flash to 2007 anyway. I'm sure you can SSH into the tablet with openssh server installed, to make it easier..
