The N810 has ~ ' ! " $ % ^ & * () <> \/ on the physical keyboard :)
For | ` {} and [] there's a key next to the space bar that brings up a mini keyboard with these (and more) symbols.

Also, xmodmap is available so I just used it to map the british pound and eurosign to [ and ]. (I'm an engineering student, so I use Octave a lot). Also, most xmod files around on this site map | to "fn ." and tab to "fn ," or vica versa.

There's plenty of symbols on the keyboard that I would never use so I've got room for mapping more symbols to hardware keys :) (for example, I don't think I'd ever have a use for the yen symbol)
