Ah, I see. Damn, I'm ******ed.
I'm more used to windows so I'm still growing into it. =)
Thanks.

Any chance you know why the next two lines after "GPS CLOCK DAEMON STARTED" never shows up for me?

Hehe, I find it hard to use the windows command line (ls instead of dir) now :)

I don't know sorry (don't use my N800 for GPS) but maybe it's worth checking when you actually get a fix? Also, are you sure that the daemon is running? (ps | grep gps | grep -v 'grep gps' will tell you)

I ran the command you gave me, and all I see is...

1214 root 4840 SW /usr/sbin/gpsdriver
1368 root 1676 SW /usr/sbin/gps-clockd

Is that sufficient?

Yep, it's running.

The above I always get from inputting the command.

But I never seen these two lines yet.
[Mon Nov 3 12:29:35 2008] GPS activated. Time to first fix 02m17s
[Mon Nov 3 12:29:30 2008] Adjusted clock by -5.08 seconds to match GPS time
~ $

You won't see these lines unless you activate the GPS and get a fix. Starting Maemo Mapper will start the process.

I tried that, I looked back at the xterm utility and it still doesn't move.

Which post are you referring to? With "that" and "it" I can't provide an answer.
