@wolfruler, your n810wm is far from obsolete, it's a damn good device. I would buy one tomorrow if I could, even though I live in UK and there's no wimax service AT ALL!
If you live in USA, there will be wimax service some of the time, some places, so it won't be a dead duck. And even if wimax fails, I think enterprising hackers will find a way of using the physical interface to the wimax module to do interesting and clever stuff, which is why I'd buy it! @slingster - go and sling your mud elsewhere. why not shove off to some microsoft site where you can moan about DRM & TPM, windows worms viruses and trojans, and closed-source lock-ins. we members of ITT are very happy with our devices and because they're open, they don't become instantly useless like a Zune would be if MS closed shop. We accept technical upgrades as an opportunity, not a rejection. |
