If its just for the colors - Stylish is sufficient:

For instance this will change the post links to green. You can also use images or data:uris to change the graphics.

If you still want to use stand-alone files, consider using the <base> tag to maintain the outside references, though you should use inline CSS then.

Yesterday my ten-year-old daughter and her friend were doing a personality quiz and asked me what my favorite color was.

I said "burnt orange," but she had no idea why.

(Btw the new orange here is easier for me to read, but it needs less red and more black [eg, less value] to be burnt orange. It looks more like Dark orange now and would be even more readable in the smallest sizes if it weren't so bright.)
