OK, so in that text, the first line (for the folder called ".") refers to the /home/user/.config folder, the "root root" means that it is owned by the root user and in the root group, and the drwxr-xr-x stuff shows that "user" cannot write to it, so this is why evince isn't starting.
Someone else will have to tell you the command to change the permissions back. |
