I have had issues with symlinks, seems like everything but those copies over fine.

Or,:
Are symlinks something that refere to other files somewhere (like a weblink) ?
And if so, can you find these, and they would be easier to copy ?

Do you have space to clone to ?
pbeasy (and pb), console tools, make it simple

Clone (iconless) system to x-place,
do post #3 on clone,
repair flash from clone.

( Depends on size of repairs.)

Just thought of tar.
~ $ tar czf munky_26#26.tar.gz /usr/share/icons/hicolor/26*26
~ $ tar czf munky_40#40.tar.gz /usr/share/icons/hicolor/40*40
worked without error msgs.

0.5 + 0.4 MB.
How do I mail them, I find no file attachment facility when choosing to mail through the forum ?

Please let me know when you've grabbed them, so I can remove the files. I just figured this would be quicker than e-mailing, since I can't attach things with the t.m.o. e-mail form
