Drewvt,
SDict Viewer doesn't show list of words until you start typing - then you'll get first 20 words that start with whatever letters you typed into word input field. It may appear that nothing is found if, for example, you have Greek-English dictionary and start typing in English. Also keep in mind that word lookup is case sensitive (although some dictionaries have two entries for each word to make it look like it works). If a dictionary is successfully opened you should get it's name in the application's title and you should also be able to see more details in "Info...". It is also possible, even though not very likely, that dictionary files you are trying to use got corrupted during download and/or transfer. SDict Viewer only performs very basic verification of dict file's header and doesn't have a way to ensure dicts integrity, so if file is corrupted - all bets are off. Hope this helps.
