It being analogue doesn't mean it has to suck for text (after all, with a few exceptions, computer monitors were analogue until very recently). Having one composite video out on the N900 won't help in that, regard, however.

The batteries last around 4 hours continous according to the material on the site -- which is good. The price is $299 for the vga pair -- which is not so good.

But can one put a price on 4 hours of public redtube?

With these specs, a BT keyboard and an N900 in your pocket, this would be quite a cool private terminal for coding, command line work, or web surfing.
