I have a few questions if you guys don't mind answering please.

1) Can you actually use fingers like the iPhone / iPod Touch (to a certain extent).

2) Does the screen attract fingerprints and smudges?

Yes on both.

You can use your fingertips much more adequately than with the screens of the past. Fingernails (or the stylus) is still needed for some functions (e.g., selecting multiple images).

3) What features does the camera have? Can it take decent pics closer to most basic digital cameras or is it closer to the cellphone camera side?

Automatic, Macro, Portrait, Landscape, Action, and Auto video. Closer to a digital camera then a cell phone.

Just tried Hulu and it was unbearably slow. It worked, though.

I think alot of people with the N900 will have Wifi access in most places, but i'd be jealous if I were with att.

By the way, the camera interface is near standard Nseries touch camera interface. It's familiar if you've had an N95 or N97

That is a shame that they are not as loud, but are they the same quality?

I think the N810 has amazing sound quality for a pocket device and was hoping the n900 was on par if not exceeding the N810 in this area.

Hi there,

Could you see any signs of a digital compass, maybe in the maps application for example?

Thanks!

It's already been long confirmed that there is no digital compass.

Dang, I personally don't know if I can swing the $650-700 for this. I just canceled my pre-order device on expansys because it is now back up to $649. Add tax and it's another $58!

I Love my N810 as my previous N800 but those were more affordable. This is not.
