#1 I dont like large cities (population of almost 600K 1.3mil with surrounding areas) #2 My dream job is some place warm with a nice beach If you like cold weather and big cities we have them in north america too, I also dont want to live in Chicago, New York, or Toronto, or pretty much anywhere in Canada. Nothing against Canada, if it was warm I would move to Saskatchewan. No offense was meant to the Fin people or workers of Nokia, but Helsinki definitely not the location for MY dream job. |
Re: The Nokia Dream job :)
"Description: NULL" basically means that you have to do anything - because you can never refer to your job description and say "this is not what I was hired for".
I wouldn't want this job. Too dangerous. :D |

Anyway, I'll let our graphic designer know Nokia's looking for him. If he kept his badge, perhaps he can attach it to his (blank?) resumé. |
Re: The Nokia Dream job :)
Heh... I've applied for a couple of those. They usually come back and update the details later.

Re: The Nokia Dream job :)
I'm more of a mopping floors kind of guy. I'd do that for a year or two if it was in Helsinki
|
Re: The Nokia Dream job :)
It just came to me that my current job description is NULL. Do you think they'd hire me based on those qualifications? :p

Re: The Nokia Dream job :)
I would move tomorrow to Helsinki for a job like that.
Judging the products around (not just Nokia) something is wrong with the actual graphics UI designers qualification requirements so NULL could be and improvement. My 2 eurocents: they should look at games developers comunity: some companies finally realise that 'mobile' has to be as near as possible to a videogame experience. |
Re: The Nokia Dream job :)
If you didn't already, try putting "Maemo" to the job keywords section. There are 37 open positions there right now.
|
Re: The Nokia Dream job :)
California or bust!
|
Re: The Nokia Dream job :)
At least one of the 37 positions is for web app specialist (here in Canada!), and Maemo gets mentioned near the end, along with all the other Nokia OSes. So not exactly a "Maemo job". I suspect there are several more like that, that one just caught my eye because it is close to home for me.
