Re: Best N900 Communities??
internettablettalk.com is still active, and being used as a blog by RogerS.
Reggie has just opened up MaemoTalk to replace internettablettalk, so maybe we'll finally see the old ITT page shut down? At the very least maybe Reggie could forward ITT to either here or MaemoTalk? |

Nobody knows what's going on around here.

There is no trainwreck here. Just a mostly informal forum wrapped around open-source activity, important context I think you're overlooking. Want more formality? Nokia Forums is the place. But we reserve the right play a little looser here. |

Chris: I'm watching the threads around you since some days. And I really think, that you're a nice guy, who just want to help and improve maemo, just as we. But I've observated, that in my impression you want to have many attention. And that's not the open source way. We are all just a part of something bigger. And speaking of opinions. Your opinion is, that a system-wide portrait support would improve maemo. That's okay. Nobody says, that portrait is bad. Some are just saying, that supporting portrait would be difficult to realize, because this would cause some problems, and that would result in an inconsistent user-experience. And that IS bad. So if you're okay with some problems, but at least having portrait, that's your opinion again. And it is good to have many different opinions, but it is difficult to pleasure everyone. I also think, that you're a person who want's to lead something... A community, a project, whatever... But you must understand: The maemo community doesn't have a leader. We are all the same, and we should live peacefully and respect each other (that part was not only to you). I hope, that you'll stay at our community because you've good ideas and you're full of enthusiasm. We are not perfect, but we are humans. As Texrat stated somewhere else: just feel the flow and go with it! |
