What's the beat detection backend? Did you do any DSP? I guess the particle flows is based on OpenGL ES 2. Correct me if I am wrong. |

or liquid flow or an interactive desktop which moves when you tilt the device (by the accelerometer). you could have a lot of stuff swirling down the background.. such as sand.. water. what not oh lol i see your post above me now :) |

Re: mameo.org panoramic background
Actually, could that live-type wallpaper be emulated by a large fullscreen widget? I don't know how overlapping widgets, links and shortcuts behave, but if you could send a 480x800 widget "to the background", in the sense that the status bar as well as no other widgets, links and shortcuts ended up behind it, you could make it look like the wallpaper did all sorts of stuff.
That gorgeous wallpaper from this thread WITH LIQFLOW (could you not make that into a widget, lcuk?), weather, news, comics, clock, slideshow, whatever... |
Re: mameo.org panoramic background
Hmm I wonder, is there anyway to have the n900 auto scroll through the 4 desktops? Like every 5 minutes (or whatever interval a user sets).
