3.1.1. would be the best one to go for on your first attempt to build up a debian package in a maemo environment using SDK from scratchbox.

I would start from debian's angband package http://packages.debian.org/sid/angband. If your lucky it works out of the box.

No, but I think Mikkov's advice was sage, especially since they have the ARM deb available. I grabbed both the deb and deb-src files and will first try to install it directly, and see what needs to be done from there. Hopefully I will get some hack time this weekend...

Actually, I have the Debian source package and deb, and want to test the install directly before I do naything else.
