So the N900 screen is 13% bigger that G1's, 9% smaller than Droid's and the ratio of the display is in the middle of the other two.

Droid= 1.74
N900= 1.67
G1= 1.48

Droid appears to have a better aspect for widescreen movies than the N900 (less black bar space on top & bottom).

I know that the N900 scales to the image, but does it also offer a fill to screen option? This cuts off some image but provides full screen. Droid can not do this (no Android can due to codecs being part of framework- no option to scale).
