That won't help the N900. The device to which you've pointed is designed to add a Bluetooth radio and an SD card reader to a computer using only one USB port. It is not a standalone Bluetooth SD reader. Sorry.

What I think you want (end result) is something like the Seagate D.A.V.E.

Use the google... lots of articles about it (though I'm not sure what happened to its release).

As far as I can tell, the Seagate D.A.V.E. never made it to market. In contrast, the EDSLAB WiDRIVE PX-100 is supposedly available for purchase. It's WiFi, not Bluetooth, but it is battery powered and fairly small.

Why not USB over IP ? IIRC it is possible. The speed should probably be there as well. And yeah you would need something along the lines of a mifi just adapted to to usb over ip and wifi connections.

Hm, TigerDirect is selling new N800s for $200 (CAD)... Interesting!

(EDIT: the N8x0 is a great USB-to-IP converter)

Re: Bluetooth-to-USB Host Adapter?

This: http://wlhdd.co.uk/wiki/Guide : would do the trick quite well - I have a couple... if only they had USB 2.0 (or 3...) but you can set it up as a Wifi AP or Wifi client and provide usb storage devices by CIFS/NFS/FTP etc. Should be able to do usb-over-ip too if you can compile the modules. Oh and it includes space for a 2.5" IDE drive... Could make a smaller case if you wanted to sacrifice that capability, or use the case space for a large battery pack.

Hmm thats a thought!!!!
