the application (Extra Decoders) work with this but the movie is slow :( :( i want to fix this :( :(

Did you install the frontend to mplayer, "sib" ? How did you try playing the file using mplayer?

look ... the file isn't in the mplayer in the menu but i opened the file from the file manger and the file play but it's slow .... and what is the (fronted to mpalyer, "sib" ) sorry I'm a new user of n900

MPlayer is a separate application that works from the command line (X Terminal), you need a graphical interface for it if you don't know how to handle the command line. SiB is the graphical frontend for MPlayer. Install MPlayer and SiB, then start SiB and try playing your RMVB file from there.

extra decoders add additonal ability to the standard media player. "mplayer" is a completely different program (not to be confused with "media player") and does not need or use the extra decoders package.

There's the built-in Nokia Media Player, then there's MPlayer (with SiB interface) available for installation in the Application Manager.

My Extra Decoders package adds support for several additional formats to the built-in Nokia Media Player. It has nothing to do with MPlayer.

MPlayer has RMVB support already built-in.

kmplayer play these files perfectly i can watch all my converted movie clearly the only issue i have that i cant forward(seek) in te clip
