The OP got the following error:

"Nokia-N900-42-11:/# sudo -s -H
Nokia-N900-42-11:/# bash ./snx_install.sh
./snx_install.sh: line 17: bunzip2: command not found
failed to extract archive"

Which means he didn't have bzip2 installed. 'apt-get install bzip2' installs it and thus the error will be gone.

Though that won't help anyways if it's x86 binaries. If it's java one could install icedtea and see if it works..
