i would hope you sell it as soon as possible! i belongs in the hands of someone who has use for it. besides, it might bring the price down a few pennies, should i ever need a replacement.

You can read what I was able to accomplish using Mer as a base a while go, however: here (way outdated setup procedures) here here and here I have not tried the newer Mer's yet. Don't know if anything significant has changed. Theoretically, as long as it's still using a Debian/Ubuntu base.. the same thing could be accomplished still by removing and adding the appropriate packages as I did. There also existed several threads here on t.m.o on getting LXDE and GDM/Gnome setup and configured on the N810. |

It's old and its an antique object lol. Selling it won't make much different. You would only end up with an extra 80 bucks in your pocket and it will be gone in just a few minutes of fun.

try installing Firefox, and browser-switchboard to make it the default browser.
It has brought browsing right up to date on my N810, seems to be quicker than the default browser, and has tabs, location detection for google maps etc, and can sync passwords and bookmarks with firefox on a PC via weave. I have also installed the frediablo theme to make diablo look a bit more like Maemo5. The dark theme alone gives it a fresher feel. |
