Then, on the other hand, Maemo users are "early adopters", and evidently are somewhat affluent. And many are technicaly astute - and "influencers" as they say in the sociological world. It would be a smart move to cultivate this particular crowd, and to also support a Dalvik VM for Maemo.

It's all about their services, and ultimately, marketing information.

FYI there is google maps app (called "latitude updater" and uses the same web frontend the iphone uses). Still has some bugs but it is awesome.

there is its on some google website. sorry was not able to find it, its something like make a suggestion or somewhere close to that line.
