Tutorial: Make sure you have PR1.1 firmware. Press ctrl-shift-o . Then close your keyboard. Rotate your device into portrait, and then the browser should rotate into portrait mode too.

YEP, it works for me thus already used the landscape so long that got used to it. With my old N97 I always used portrait mode.

N900 Update! Portrait Mode (Browser Only)
 
Tutorial: Make sure you have PR1.1 firmware. Press ctrl-shift-o . Then close your keyboard. Rotate your device into portrait, and then the browser should rotate into portrait mode too.

I cant seem to get that to work either...

Should I press the ctrl+diagonal blue arrow+o in the browser or on the desktop?

Is there a limit of times that I can press without needing to reboot or something? I tried many times and nothing.

was it "ctrl + diagonal blue arrow" or "ctrl + shift" again?

e: hint: you can cheat by looking your computers keyboard if you know which button the shift is there
