you dont have to start over unless you have some faulty software that you downloaded from one of the repositories and the update says you need to connnect to NSU or flasher.
the updates work great....dl them and then they install and your unit is updated. otherwise, if you clean boot, just go to your good backup that you created and restore from it. you should be fine. |

you probably have software installed that is using your rootfs space. the last update required about 40mb there.
Try the following command in X-terminal to see all three partitions: df -h / /home /home/user/MyDocs There is a space between the three folders "/", "/home" and "/home/user/MyDocs" in the command. this will show you how much space you have on your rootfs. you can also read up on this: http://my-symbian.com/forum/viewtopi...41028&start=45 |

I read that the 32GB internal storage isn't touched when the firmware is updated. Is this correct?
I don't think they would just wipe the storage just because of a firmware update. |
