Also, was the audio file stored on one of the SD cards, or was it internal? I'm just trying to think of the different things that might have caused this poor battery life... |

man, if I could get more than two hours continous play off my two year old ipod I'd be happy.

Re: Battery Test: 5 hours running Media Player
ok I apologize for being coarse, ignorant, and rude....
Admittedly, I am less concerned with battery life because I have an extra charged battery in my wallet at all times, and a solar battery charger that trickles enough into my N800 so that it maintains charge under use without draw on the batter for an extra 3 hours (not quite enough juice to actually fully charge though).... I have a car charger for Mapper, and a brick charger both at home and at work... I have these means because the 770 / N800 really don't hold a charge THAT long. I don't use my Nokia as a phone, and I don't really use it as a portable mp3 player for more than an hour or so. I use it as a portable computer- an internet tablet... I am curious about how the N800's battery life compares to the 770, though I probably don't have the patience or sincere curiosity enough to run my baby down to the ground doing a repetitive task that I otherwise have no need to accomplish. With that, I will butt out of this thread! cheers dcarter |
