some years ago , i used windows mobile , ands it was not so bad ... i mean it was a phone, where i could inlatt software by myself ... and the hacks with the regestry worked whery wll to ... so if there was a way to insall it , i would propably rty it |

i like a winmo emulation or port too... sure the os sucks right now but there are apps that are really great like google maps, slingbox, and skyfire ( i need the silverlight support )

The beauty of this device is its open source OS with an impressive hardware for the community to explore. Why would anyone want to cripple it by adding an OS for dummies is beyond me.

Windows CE is not such a crazy idea. It's of course crazier than trying to install any other Linux distro, but I believe it's in the "plausible" area. Of course, you'll need a WinCE license to begin with.
