I'm sorry for your problems, but I must thank you for the general info. I had no idea that the way to activate the vkeyboard was to click a textbox with the phone closed. I thought for sure there was some keyboard combination that I simply hadn't learned yet (btw, isn't there some kind of vkb you CAN call up with keypress combinations?)
Anyway I had pretty much resigned myself to not using the VKB. Thanks to you for letting me know how easy it really is! So, about your problem, you did click SAVE after you checked off the VKB checkbox, yes? Just asking. |

I had the same problem. I uninstall Scim and Googlepinyin, problem solved.
