Anyway, just checked mirror - and it is not in dev!!!

hehe i know the feeling :D - i'm trying to figure out how to use the front cam in an app, tis hard work! (Would help if i knew what i was doing though!! hehe)

Any possibility to use the front camera also with flash? There are for example online services where you can use your webcam, for me only the microphone of the N900 gets detected by flash.

Not at this time. Apparently, support for the front camera was specifically removed from the Flash plug-in in Maemo 5 for privacy reasons. See bug 1889.

You may vote for bug 1889, if the issue is important to you; however, as the bug has been redirected to Brainstorm, votes on it in Bugzilla aren't as visible as they once were. I've no idea if a Brainstorm for the issue was ever created.
