Re: Use your maemo.org account on meego.com
Many thanks for this @bergie!
I've created a wiki page at MeeGo with your guidance: http://wiki.meego.com/MeeGo_Logins |
Re: Use your maemo.org account on meego.com
Aha, nice. Is this why I could not log into maemo.org for a while today ? :-)

Re: Use your maemo.org account on meego.com
Does that mean we have to put in http://maemo.org/openid/id/username/ everytime we want to login to Meego?
I don't like that! |

p.s. and yeah, like bergie said, after that we'll be able to use special button on meego.com for one-click login |
Re: Use your maemo.org account on meego.com
I'm really pleased about this. However, since I already have over a dozen OpenID accounts, it would be really nice tmo could link my current account to some of those. (For example, I use XRI sso for OpenID V 2 systems I can log in as @ahynes1 ) I would love to be able to log in that way here as well.

Re: Use your maemo.org account on meego.com
sso update: meego appears to be handling SSO quite nicely. What I did (and would encourage others to consider doing) is:
First, I registered a regular account. This gives me a userid and password if there are ever problems. Then, I modified my SSO setting in the account to allow me to log in with my Maemo Openid. Also, for speed, I made it possible for me to log in with my XRI accounts. It would be great if maemo would also allow logins with other OpenID providers. |

BTW, I wrote some thoughts about moving forward with the MeeGo SSO concept. |
