I had localization on IM active (so nothing fancy, city district only) and I saw a 10-20% decline in autonomy (as in, instead of 40% when I get home, I get 30%) which, while not huge, keeps me from emergency skipping a day (if I forget to charge I get through a second day with savings).
However, I assume that the actual GPS could be off and only use other means of location like IP geo and cell name/ID. Does using that alone allow the actual GPS to be off (as in, the math part)?
