What on earth is the OS that runs on that device?
It has the maemo multitasking button on the top left?

^^ LOL! It says it runs Linux 2.6. Thats one of the reasons i thought it was funny. A cheap chinese knockoff like that couldnt be for real....right?

I have no idea. Usually the knockoffs are priced very very low, unless it's a direct replica of a well known pricey item.

But anyway, the keyboard looks like a joy to type on... not :D

Thank you AJ for the interesting link.
My N900 is getting old quickly and since it is not 100 percent sure yet if it will get the latest Meemo 7 OS and thousands of funny apps to download when I am bored and want to see new advertisements I find the BPHONE a real eyeopener that proves it worth to look further than the established brands.

I just wonder if we are comparing apples to apples here...:
the BPHONE being clearly a "phone" while the N900 is in fact kind of an internet tablet that can make calls. I hope the internet functionality will not be cripled by the need to have full phone integration in the device as that would be a real wast of the beautiful touch screen.

Any body knows if it will support portret mode out of the box?

Anyway I think my boss will turn to jealous green when I pull this bad boy out of my pocket in the middle of an annoying meeting :)

He's got a point. Fun is fine, but we can easily do without these provocative thread titles from either side of the N900 fence.

Don't you have something more interesting to do instead of starting unuseful threads and being "sarcastic"?
And don't forget whining people here could be as much sarcastic as you... because they are PEOPLE in the first place... Anyway sarcasm will lead to nothing good, especially in terms of making the N900 a better product...
So when one has nothing to say he/she better stay silent :P

Joke aside, I can't afford another phone and I'll be paying for this one until December.

People saying "get an Iphone" when users discover weak N900 spots are about as helpful as people saying RTFM when your phone won't boot.
