http://wiki.maemo.org/index.php?titl...action=history http://maemo.org/profile/view/marcell/ Also if i go to Nokias firmware download page it says right besides Vanilla image: "Vanilla version of the eMMC content for Nokia N900 NOTE: Always flash the FIASCO image first, then the eMMC image immediately after that. Never boot up the device between flashing the FIASCO image and the eMMC image!" SO probably what he put there WAS correct but overall whole flash guide is in my opinion quite horrible. I could not even update my firmware when i followed it :| We really should make something to that. It's just filled with notes and terminology that's not clear to all people. .edit Funny (or sad) thing is that after when i flashed my fiasco image my N900 booted up automatically. |

You can try one more thing, flash the firmware first, boot up normally, set up everything, install rootsh open terminal then (as root): Code:
rm -rf /opt Code:
umount /dev/mmcblk0p1 Code:
rm -rf /home/user/.* After the steps above reflash the firmware again to restore stuff that shouldn't have been deleted from /home/user Try Sygic again, if it doesn't work, an eMMC reflash is your only hope. Again, backup everything, MyDocs shouldn't be deleted using the steps above, but better be safe than sorry :) Your settings will be deleted. |

The eMMC reflash had -R at the end, which reboots the phone (as noted in my previous post - the one you quoted), I removed the -R to make it not reboot. I'm not sure what's with all the inconsistency, I'm also not sure who edited the tablets site but the editor could've looked at the wiki and moved what was a warning there to the tablets site, I can rewrite that wiki section if you want, but please can you test if the eMMC first then FIASCO works? Edit: well just looked at the history and it says Quote:

Re: Sygic crashes after overclock !
Mohammad, cheers mate - glad that this stuff is sinking in, and actually makes me want to actively learn more now
Thanks for your help and encouragement here and over at users. Slender, you're quite right Quote:
And before anyone starts shouting at me, thats not a critiscism, merely an observation to hopefully get it improved - anything that makes learning easier, is obviously going to encourage more active users - and thats got to be a good thing ;) Thanks again everyone  |

You do not have to rewrite it if you leave it as Marcell edited it. Except he left there inconsistent stuff. Argh..Dunno. I will do my own version and post it to you. Let´s say in week. |
