@Aranel "You're right about garbage threads. I think creating a "Useless Whine" category (name it something more pretty) would help. It's boring to see at least 10 threads claiming their hate to Nokia a day. (Same applies to PR1.2 threads, too)"

Well maybe if they get their heads out of the sand and at least give some type of windows or time-frame for the release of the pr1.2 update then everyone would not profess their anger and resentment towards Nokia. After all this time no word on anything concerning that update and it remains to be seen it if will get released before the end of the year. It would be a huge gesture of goodwill, at least I believe, to at least put some balm on it and tell us when to expect it. Or at the very least tell us what is the delay.

This forum is not responsible for Nokia delays and should not bear the brunt of anger over them.

You're right.

"profess their anger and resentment towards Nokia"

You're wrong, I think. Maemo.org or TMO is not/can not be a platform to profess anger, since it is not Nokia-driven. If you're angry because Nokia is doing sth bad, there's still no reason to punish Maemo.org community with garbage threads and useless stuff. Moderators here can not give you what you want.

@Texrat
Thanks for your explanation, so I'm happy to see it was only a misunderstanding :)

Yep.

And speaking of explanations-- I added those details to my sticky thread under Off Topic.
