Re: Cant delete movies from play list...

are you talking about mediabox here ?

Its the same thing. They are also in /home/user/.mediabox/playlists directory.

eg. my movie name is "20100501_001"

-- cd /home/user/.mediabox/playlists
-- grep 20100501_001 *
it shows
Playlist.m3u:#EXTINF:-1,20100501_001
Playlist.m3u:file:///home/user/MyDocs/DCIM/20100501_001.mp4

So you have to delete these two entries from Playlist.m3u

still having this problem

just had a laugh on the first answeres...

you might have a problem with your trackerd (the tool watching after your files to generate this list) you may get it fixed by plugging it into your computer and go for masstorage use wait for it to settle and disconnect again.
if this does not help you need to reset the tracker by typing

Code:

tracker-processes --hard-reset
in a terminal window

after this trackerd is not running but will start after you launch the mediaplayer, it will take quiet some time to track your files again. (mine took about 30 minutes)

I do not know how to reset just the media files instead, maybe s/o else does
