Sorry didn't mean to offend, I said it because in the past, that's the only time I texted with one hand.

Anyway, I hope they also give the option of showing the top menu too in portrait mode. I know for sure it's possible because it shows if you're in that first page that the browser shows (with all the maemo links) even in portrait mode.

VertSMS is currently being developed. It's in extras-devel, and there are no guarantees on whether it will work or not. It also might harm your device if not used properly. (Hardly likely...)

looks right up my street but gonna wait for a more sturdy release and then give it a try along with FMMS
