Re: MeeGo Release Soon Repo Empty
Had anybody went through all the Meego post yet. If not do, it clarifies that May release would not be for regular public it is still going to be Developer centric.

Re: MeeGo Release Soon Repo Empty
Will it have a GUI?

Re: MeeGo Release Soon Repo Empty
From what I understood, MeeGo 1.0 would be just the basic shell along with some hardware support.
Looking at the few changelogs that were quoted in a different thread, it looks like they had added closed source N900 drivers (bluetooth comes to mind, but there were a few others like the BME (battery meter efficiency or something like that). I figure I'd just chill and watch it unfold. I'm mostly waiting for Qt 4.6 so that I may start learning Python and Qt programming. It's really perfect if you think about it, should be completely cross platform between Linux, Mac, Windows (which by the way should ALWAYS be the way they are listed, since you are supposed to list things in alphabetical order!) and a few of the Mobile OSs. Not sure about WebOS, but at the very least MeeGo and Symbian. slaapliedje |

Re: MeeGo Release Soon Repo Empty
The UI looks good. I am sick of waiting :D

Re: MeeGo Release Soon Repo Empty
When will the UI versions for non-developers start coming out? That part is sorely lacking in terms of a release date.

Re: MeeGo Release Soon Repo Empty
No one's here to tell us :D and they call it open source :D
