I'm still trying to flash my device but it still want go right.
I've a news... the pc gave me a message:
Suitable USB device not found, waiting
USB device found found at bus 001, device address 056
Unsupported board (id = 0x0000)

Can you tell me something about this?????

Hmm, now we're getting somewhere. But this sounds bad, really bad. If both cable and your PC is OK and you know this for sure, then the tablet might have something screwed in flash (probably config partition holding the board id) or the USB chip is broken. having such device I would be happy if it still boots and did the boot from mmc hack as soon as possible or your first reboot loop might be your last. No flashing means no recovery. It is vital to have one perfectly booting system (either in flash or mmc or both) so you can fix things in flash directly on the device.

But still it may be problem with cable or that specific PC and its USB interface. Trying other PC or operating system or cable is your only hope.

Does the USB in your N770 work fine otherwise i.e. can you see your MMC card as a storage drive when you connect it to PC when N770 system is booted?

Thank you fanoush. Yes i can mount the mmc drive, browse and modify it, on mac linux and windoz. Than i think that the usb cable and 770 connector are ok... But the problem is...: can i flash the device from itself mmc card slot???

You may already know this - but - make sure that the 770 power cord is NOT plugged in.

I once had problem with flashing with xp. Flashing was interrupted. I finally figured out that I was logged in windows as power user, not admin. Logged in as admin and all went well

Re: Firmware upgrade problem

I am having an issue as well with my 770. A couple of weeks ago, I uploaded a theme (Aqua), and suddenly, I couldn't boot from either the flash or the mmc. It starts to boot, and then goes back to the Boot Menu.

I attempted to re-flash, and I started with a test load:

sudo ~/bin/flasher-3.0 -l -b -k os2006-linux-2.6.16-39-1+ipv6+ext2+mmcplus52Mhz-zImage

and what I got back was:

Version of 'sw-release': <no version>
Sending kernel image (1357 kB)...
100% (1357 of 1357 kB, avg. 658 kB/s)
Sending request 0x82 failed: Cannot send after transport endpoint shutdown

Any ideas on what I can do to correct this problem?

Perhaps both flash and mmc is somehow corrupted. Or maybe (just guessing from your second issue) you flashed wrong kernel and now rootfs doesn't like it?

And what is the actual problem? Yo don't like the message or something else is not working? I've seen this when flashing from vmware but did not see any real problem with it (except the message).
