You wouldn't be hearing the screen click sound that's enabled in the profile would you? It sounds like you describe.

I had that too some time ago. Then it went away, or least I didn't notice it anymore.

After replacing the touchscreen, I don't have that noise.

I remember it bothered me when I first noticed it, but then really didn't care. I even had to actually check for it just now to see if my new screen has it. So chances are, you will forget about it too.

It is usually a matter of keeping the screen clean and regularly cleaning out the dirt that accumulates under the frame surrounding the screen.

Other posters have suggested cleaning by slipping a thin sheet of paper under the frame.

Once I started doing this regularly, I have not had any problems with screen creaking.

Actually, after taking a look at tehkseven's disassembly video, I think it's more likely that one of the clips have gone loose. Pushing the frame in does the trick for me.

Mine seems to have stopped. I'm pretty sure it is to do with heat by the way, it comes back on hot days...
