It looks like you can only update using the nokia pc suite which i'm not happy about? I had a nokia 5800 before this and i had a little taste of how crap it was? Oh well, if thats the only way.

Generally that means you either don't have enough rootfs space, or you have conflicting packages (usually 3D games - tuxrace, openarena, quake) which need to be uninstalled until after you've updated.

Right.... did a backup using the phone, installed nokia suite and nokia software updater, after about an hour of messing around finally got new update on my phone. booted as tho it was out the box, restored what i had backed up but will not conect to my wireless router anymore?? I'm restoring all my apps as we speak through 3G which isn't so bad but does anyone kno why my wifi isn't working??

What error does it give you? Can't work on a problem if all there is to work on is "I've got a problem."

Thats all i get? Never had a problem with wifi untill this flippin update???

Did you restore your connection settings from your back up? as I had the same problem...

I just deleted the wi-fi connection and reset it... Worked for me..

Yeh tried that didn't work? Did that happen to you after the update?

Not with 1.2 but then again i flashed mine to the global coz i wouldn't touch a vodafone update...
