Hi, i have tried to run all the commands mentioned but to no luck. I am still not able to install or update any application. When i refresh the catelogs, 3 of them fail to refresh.
ovi, extras-testing , and extras-devel

They were working fine untill a few weeks back. Kindly help me out please.

Worst case how do i reset my n900? Thanks.

You're previous message showed an error running the postinstall script for wget (I'm not sure why - it doesn't actually do anything on the N900), so you could try uninstalling that (apt-get remove wget).

Thanks. That did it. I removed wget and it started working as intended after a restart. Thank you all for helping me.
