is it possible to incorporate the option that you can change the silent mode to an additional profile.

For example: I'd like Timedsilence to set the profile to silence from 00.00 until 08.00. I'd like to set my work profile (created with "Tweakr" from 08.00 untill 18.00 and from 18.00 untill 00.00 + in the weekends i'd like my general profile.

Hope that this is possible

I have just made a few tests to see if I could make a quick implementation before I leave. It seems it is not as easy as expected. I will need to check how Tweakr adds the new profile.

I'm using the DBUS command at http://wiki.maemo.org/Phone_control#List_all_profiles and it does not return the profile I created with Tweakr.

I actually did not know System Event Scheduler existed... The only similar app I knew was "silencer" but I felt its UI was confusing.

About SES, from what I could read at http://nokia-n900.com/silent-on-time...ent-scheduler/, I noticed the following differences:
- It seems SES is more "generic" than TimedSilencer. This means SES allows for a little more customization but is probably a little harder to use.
- TimedSilencer has no Offline/Online modes support
- TimedSilencer handles events a bit differently. A Silencing event is always associated with an unsilencing one (they are not handled separately as in SES). Personally, I find it easier the way it's done in TimedSilencer but I guess it is a matter of taste :)

Thank you for introducing me to SES. I will probably check it out after my vacation to see how it works :)

Tweakr does not create new profiles, instead it reconfigures
the builtin general profile. But there may be an interface
to acces tweakr profiles (I don't know exactly but maybe
alarmed can use and change tweakr profiles).

Btw ProfilesX creates real extra profiles which are
accessible through dbus commands just like the builtin profiles.

I can't find ProfilesX in App manager, where would one find it?

That's why!

For some reason that Repo is failing with a "Hash Sum Mismatch" error. Got any ideas how to resolve that one?

Awesome App, to me it is (was) the only thing missing from my n900.
I am VEERRY interested in your further developments to potentially include customer profiles (created in Tweakr). The UI is awesome and easy to use and I look forward to the next version.

Thanks for taking the time to build it, I wish I was as smart as you.

Doesn't it? how come i have 3 profiles: General, silent and work.

All i did was change the settings and save the profile under a different name.

even if you click on the "clockmenu" it gives you three choices.

Anyway, even if you can fix it via ProfileX, i'm happy to use that in combination with Timed silencer ;)

Tweakr stores different settings for the general profile. If you switch
from silent to work profile, tweakr sets the profile setting for the
general profile to those from the work profile. But the dbus
command only lists the "real" profiles (general and silent)

Tweakr has its own statusbar button and hides the builtin one.
