they were in a hurry to release the new iPhone and messsed up
its no step forward, i'll give you that
i think apple really screwed up with this 'holding wrong' business but they needed to say something, anything, you know...
whatever they would've said, it would anyway be stupid, BECAUSE
seriously, the iphone 4 has a serious design flaw and theres nothing anyone can do about it
and still they sold millions...
incredible but true, marketing sells, not quality
way to go Jobs :D

oh, right an iphone4 lol.

What did apple say then?
My sister in law got one and the first thing she said to my wife was'The signal is ok, honestly, call quality has been fine for me'. We hadn't even heard there was any complaints going round until aftger that.
THEN when she has called my sister since, all I can hear in the background is 'what, what, what did you say, I can't hear you properly, say that again'

yes, it did sell millions at first, but the sales did go down after he said the famous sentence" your holding it wrong" and it deflected people just like me

dont you guys think that apple is taking a step backwards and nokia is learning from apples mistake?

I doubt that there's anything about building wireless antennas that Nokia needs to learn from Apple, or anybody else for that matter. Core competency as far as Nokia is concerned.

Any articles about this?
I've never heard about any 'sales go down'. I know they're out of stock everywhere though.

Not yet but Apple wont admit they have problems :) Remember Micro USB issue on N900 ? At first Nokia was hesitant to accept there is a problem but they realized that denying makes it even worse:D
