Re: Recieving free inbound Land Line calls to Gizmo via GrandCentral
I could not find where to press "1" in Gizmo client, but if you use native "green dot", to accept incoming call do this:
- when your tablet rings, accept/deny window pops up. Click on Accept button. - you will hear a message "bla-bla-bla, press 1". Click on menu, DTMF dialing (or similar) - it will bring up a dialpad. Press 1 and you are all set. Quite annoying, though. You have to be quick or it goes to voicemail. |
Re: Recieving free inbound Land Line calls to Gizmo via GrandCentral
I guess the point I get lost isWAS when you say 'DTMF dialing (or similar)'. I found it in the pulldown menu for the native Internet Call application. Internet Call -> DTMF dialling (below Dialing pad). It's disabled at the moment, presumably since I'm not connected to an active connection.
The downside is I need to launch all this when the call comes in. Gizmo already seems to be a ring behind my cell phones. The OS2008 discusion says that voice confirmation should be available soon. Yeah Google! |
