Re: N900 & WPA issues - Help
seems you are connected to the router at the least.
Can you modify the connection and add the following OpenDNS ip's in place of the DNS Servers instead of having them auto populated. 208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220 Then restart the phone, connect to the same network, verify that you have the values showing in the DNS Server in the settings and then try accessing any website. |
Re: N900 & WPA issues - Help
I don't think you can specify DNS without also specifying IP address. At least last time I did some tests it didn't work. You need either manually specify both IP address and DNSs, or set auto-retrieve for both.
andy_con:If you haven't already made the changes depu suggested then try to ping your router: Code:
ping 192.168.1.1 |
Re: N900 & WPA issues - Help
Is it a BT Homehub 2? There are a lot of problems with the wifi being set in N mode. It might be worth switching to B/G mode only and try again.
It resolved my problem with several devices not connecting to a Homehub 2 |

@teh If it were running on a N router then it wont even show up on the connections since the n900 is not a N capable device. All the indications are that there is a DNS retrieval issue happening here. |
