I'm also using DD-WRT and Titan, no problems whatsoever.

I may have coma cross this issue, I have no answers but I like the theory of channel switching issues. I was in Europe and the hotel I was staying at used linksys routers that I commonly see flashed as DD-WRT ap's. I could not connect to the wifi for the life of me no matter whether I restarted either device. My wife was able to connect her Symbian E72 with no problems.

Re: Titan's Power Kernel bug? - Can't see DD-WRT APs
I may have a similar issue. I just got a Buffalo ZR-HP-G300NH and flashed the latest DD-WRT firmware (don't have specific version number).
Here is the interesting part. When I use no encryption, I am unable to see/connect to the AP. However when I use any encryption to (WEP, WPA2, etc) I am able to see and connect to it. I am using the same sid as my old linksys WRT54G (also running DD-WRT). Do you think it could have something cached that associates the MAC and sid of that particular AP? Any ideas how to resolve? FYI, I want to keep my AP open (no encryption). |
Re: Titan's Power Kernel bug? - Can't see DD-WRT APs
As a side question, why exactly would you want to keep your AP open?
