I'm also using DD-WRT and Titan, no problems whatsoever.

What channels are the DD-WRT APs using? I'm thinking the power kernel might be getting stuck on the US regulatory domain for some reason.

To be more precise, I am using a linksys wrt54g2 flashed to ddwrt with tftp, works great.

They're both set to auto channel selection. Yesterday the one I was trying to connect to was on 1.

I may have coma cross this issue, I have no answers but I like the theory of channel switching issues. I was in Europe and the hotel I was staying at used linksys routers that I commonly see flashed as DD-WRT ap's. I could not connect to the wifi for the life of me no matter whether I restarted either device. My wife was able to connect her Symbian E72 with no problems.

The only thing unusual about the setup here is that there are multiple APs with the same SSID so that you can roam across them as you move around. Apart from that it's all pretty normal settings.

I'm using a DLink (original firmware) as the main router and a linksys (dd-wrt) as a repeater bridge and no problems. Currently using AES, but TKIP works well.

I could still see and connect to other APs. Reinstalling the stock kernel fixed everything. I've found one other mention of the same problem:

Can anyone else confirm?

same problem here, check the bug: https://garage.maemo.org/tracker/ind...1528&atid=5521

I may have a similar issue. I just got a Buffalo ZR-HP-G300NH and flashed the latest DD-WRT firmware (don't have specific version number).

Here is the interesting part. When I use no encryption, I am unable to see/connect to the AP. However when I use any encryption to (WEP, WPA2, etc) I am able to see and connect to it.

I am using the same sid as my old linksys WRT54G (also running DD-WRT). Do you think it could have something cached that associates the MAC and sid of that particular AP?

Any ideas how to resolve? FYI, I want to keep my AP open (no encryption).

As a side question, why exactly would you want to keep your AP open?
