Re: Opera browser spoofing firefox?

Hi,

I could not find any "Defaults" section from the default.action file that came with my installation using the Repositories.

In the end, I added in

Code:

{ \
+hide-referrer{forge} \
-hide-user-agent {Mozilla/5.0} \
}
/ # '/' Match *all* URL patterns

on my own and it seems to work when I go to

http://www.whatsmyip.com

but somehow,

http://config.privoxy.org/show-request

still shows the opera headers.

That's probably ok, because when you go to config.privoxy.org you don't go on the internet, it's the local privoxy that responds. And what it sees is your Opera browser. As long as www.whatsmyip.com sees it ok you should be fine.
