what is scim google pinyin?? sorry not up to par with this. whats it used for ?

It's a Chinese input method developed by Google on top of Linux's scim (Smart Common Input Method). ;)

I suggest you won't install mscim-pinyin. Because it may cause n900 system broken and n900 would always show internal error.You had better install google pinyin in application manager
