well, i guess when nitdroid was released and gained hype, i wanted to install it onto my N900.. thus the sign of wanting android.

maybe it was a sign that i had to abandon Maemo/N900 soon anyway..

im liking the galaxy, 1ghz stock, max possible 1.6ghz. android 2.1 and rooted to gain more functionality. Battery life double than the N900's when surfing the net, custom ROMS, AMOLED, etc.

i wanted to keep my n900 though.

My usb port is not even attached to my N900... I fear the day I will accidently brick my device... right now, im just hoping i can last until the N9 comes out lol.

That was what I was trying to do. But then fell so in love with modding th device and eventually went a mod too far and ended up with a bricked device.

Do not make the same mistake I made. Stay away from mods.:)

If it's not completely and utterly shot (formatted root fs?) then Backup Menu can restore a disk image. Also, some CLI recovery mode and neat stuff. Excludes MultiBoot and thus NITDroid IIRC. Though it should be doable by someone with a better understanding of the Linux Loader.
