one more thing DeaTHY you dont need to type the whole filename :)
just type commands correctly.

For example before flashing I changed the names to e.bin and pr13.bin its much easier that way ;)

Well can someone please confirm the size of the rootfs image after flashing? Mine is at 56% and it really bugs me up cozlast night, my mobiles rootfs suddenly shot up to 100% and There seemed to be nothin i could do about it. Earlier I had around 68% free space but now even after flashing, there isnt enough place for all my apps. can someone assist me on this?

Just let me know the free space and size of a fully flashed n900

i always flashed the emmc first, and used the same command for both emmc and firmware, did that for fw 1.1 and 1.2

My Bad. I managed understanding the rootfs. It is supposed to be takin uparound 180MB Approx. for the usage of the system files. So hopefully I find the package that ruined my heavily modded phone :(
