Just timed the boot:
2:15 for progress bar to start
desktop in 2:45
That is not normal boot time. I will now reflash and do it again

Ok. Tried installing sysklogd but there was a problem connecting to the repo. So I reflashed and restored my backup.

36 seconds to desktop.
