Re: Nokia N900 and T-Mobile's 4G ?

1. I am in Chicago
2. Chicago T-Mobile infrastructure supports "their 4G" (beginning a few months ago)
3. Used N900 since it was launched in the US, in Nov '09 - have only gotten 2-3Mbps (down) in the city, with the 3.5G indicated on the connection mode. Most of the time, though - 2G
5. Have tested htc - 10Mbps+ in the same area (shop in the city)

I know it doesn't show up on their website anymore, but you can sign up for the Even More Plus plan by calling T-mobile and asking directly for it. I signed up for it about a month ago and there was no problem. I don't know why they don't advertise it on their website anymore though.

Re: Nokia N900 and T-Mobile's 4G ?

I enjoyed more than 9 Mb/s of download for a few weeks on T-Mo 3G network sometime back in June. I think my $10 unlimited data service is being throttled since then which, leave me to around 3.5 Mb/s at best on 3.5G
